Christmas 2022 started as a challenge to find the structural limits of sculpting clay. Each twisting limb holds a significant weight in the sneakers and hands. The piece also me gave the opportunity to play with the asymmetry of the limbs and face while maintaining a central focal point. I ended up with the tentacled Christmas Goblin of 2022.
