About Me.

I am a 90’s kid born and raised in Charlottesville, VA. My mom was an art teacher turned Occupational Therapist, which influence a lot of my childhood. I was encouraged to find inventive solutions to any problem, and found creative outlets in sculpting, painting, and drawing. I followed in her footsteps and started a career as an Occupational Therapist.

While in school I found my love of Anatomy as well as an understanding of body structure and movement. In 2017, I produced and directed a documentary on improving the healthcare experience for the transgender community for my graduate program thesis. I was surprised with how much I connected with every aspect of the filmmaking process. I loved the impact a well told story could have on a community. Completing that film changed the trajectory of my career path and sent me head first into the film industry.

I worked for a year as a school based Occupational Therapist while taking film classes in my free time and picking up any gig I could get. In 2019, I moved to Atlanta to make the transition into film permanent. Over the past four years, I have developed production and story telling skills while working with some of the best creatives in the industry.

The combination of my accrued passions and skill set have naturally led me to stop motion animation. I find so much joy in creating concepts, characters, and stories and making them come to life. I love using stop motion as a story telling device because it combines tangible, cinematic, and conceptual artistry to give the audience a truly unique experience. I plan to continue my exploration of claymation, animation, and story telling while pushing my own creative boundaries and producing the best product possible.
