In for a Hand, In for a Finger
The ‘In for a Hand, In for a Finger’ animation was created using sculpting clay over a wire frame. The sculpture was then adhered to a wood and acrylic painted dinner tray found at Last Chance Thrift in Decatur GA to create the final effect. I shot with a Sony A7ii, to photograph a total of 103 frames. I took inspiration for this animation from body horror movies such as ‘Crimes of the Future’, my love and study of anatomy and the combination of organic and industrial material as seen by tattoo artist Eli Flannagan. The music was given by Atlanta band, Wieuca.
